Classic ERC ranges — models like the PGR, RSE, RSG, RSD, ERD, MRE, and EGR — share the same F0 through F8 scheme as the Classic wall ovens, confirmed by a single Tec-Line troubleshooting document naming both product families together. The ER30D, ER36D, and ER48D range platform runs a separate, longer Legacy list stretching from F1 to F95, and several of its early numbers genuinely conflict with the Classic ERC meanings for F1, F2, and F3 — the same digits mean different problems depending on which Legacy platform is fitted. Samsung-era Modernist Pro ranges, such as the DOP48M86D and DOP36M86D, use the identical C-code table documented for the Samsung-era wall oven, since the range and oven share a control platform in that generation. Day to day, the complaints we see most are a burner that will not stay lit, an oven cavity that runs hot or cold against its set temperature, a door lock failure blocking a self-clean cycle, and — on steam-equipped Contemporary models — a RealSteam system failing to fire during a bake cycle.

Error codes and diagnostics
Three separate code families exist for Dacor ranges, and none of them can be swapped in for another. F9 on the ER-series platform is a door-lock failure, distinct from the same problem appearing as F7 or F8 on a Classic ERC range. F30 and F31 on the ER-series both flag a shorted or open temperature sensor, while F32 points to a loose data cable or a defective membrane switch — three closely related problems that still require different repairs. On the Samsung-era side, C-72 covers a steam-sensor failure on combi-capable models or a drain-system issue depending on the specific symptom reported, exactly as it does on the Samsung-era wall oven, since the range and oven share this diagnostic table directly.
