What C0 means on your Dacor cooktop (dacor cooktop c0)
Dacor cooktop c0 is a Samsung-era Dacor code from the Modernist induction cooktop’s “Information codes” table: the top sensor, which reads the glass surface temperature to protect the cooktop and any cookware on it, has gone open. An open reading means the main PCB is getting no signal at all from that sensor circuit, not a signal that is out of range, so the board treats the zone as blind and disables it rather than guess at surface temperature. This sensor sits under the ceramic glass near the induction coils, separate from the internal IGBT sensor that c1 and c2 cover, and its job is purely to watch the cooking surface itself.
